JKZ Party Rental Equipment - Rental Policy

1. Reservation and Payment

  • Reservations: All equipment is rented on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of a signed rental agreement and a deposit of 50% of the total rental fee.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due at least 3 days before the event date.

  • Late Payments: A late payment fee of 10% of the total rental will be charged if the payment is not made by the due date.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation by Client: Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the event will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will forfeit the deposit.

  • Cancellation by JKZ Party Rental: In the event that we are unable to fulfill your rental due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund or offer alternative equipment of equal or greater value.

3. Delivery and Pickup

  • Delivery Fees: Delivery is available for an additional charge based on the event location. Fees will be included in the final invoice.

  • Delivery Time: We will coordinate a delivery window with you at least 48 hours prior to your event. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure someone is present to receive the equipment.

  • Pickup: Equipment must be ready for pickup at the designated time after the event. If the equipment is not ready, additional charges may apply.

4. Damage, Loss, and Cleaning

  • Damage/Loss: The client is responsible for all equipment during the rental period. Any damage or loss will result in charges for repair or replacement at market value.

  • Cleaning: All rental items must be returned in the same condition as received. A cleaning fee will be applied if items are returned dirty or not in their original state.

5. Rental Period

  • Standard Rental Period: The rental period is for 24 hours unless otherwise specified in the rental agreement. Extensions must be arranged in advance and may incur additional charges.

  • Overdue Returns: Items not returned on time will incur late fees of 10% of the daily rental rate per day.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Site Preparation: The client is responsible for ensuring that the event site is properly prepared and accessible for equipment setup and breakdown.

  • Permits: Any necessary permits or permissions for the use of equipment at the event location are the responsibility of the client.

7. Liability

JKZ Party Rental Equipment is not responsible for any accidents or injuries resulting from the use or misuse of our equipment. Clients assume all responsibility for the safety of the equipment while in their possession.

8. Weather Policy

In case of inclement weather, the client may reschedule the rental to an available future date without penalty, provided that JKZ is notified at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time.

  2. Inflatable Safety

    • Setup: Our trained crew is responsible for the safe installation of all inflatable equipment, such as bounce houses and water slides, to prevent accidents or malfunctions.

    • Supervision: For inflatables, we recommend adult supervision at all times during use to ensure children’s safety. We provide safety instructions upon delivery.

    • Weather Conditions: Inflatables should not be used in severe weather conditions, such as high winds or heavy rain. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule delivery if the weather poses a safety risk.

  3. Safe Use of Equipment

    • All rental items are intended for safe, normal use as described in the rental agreement. Misuse of equipment or failure to follow safety instructions can result in injury or damage for which the client is responsible.

    • Electrical Equipment: When renting items requiring electricity, proper grounding and care must be taken to avoid electric shock or fire hazards. We provide clear usage instructions to help ensure safe operation.

  4. Customer Responsibilities

    • Clients are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for event attendees and guests. This includes adhering to provided safety instructions, maintaining clear access to equipment, and ensuring no obstacles interfere with the safe use of rented items.

    • Permits and Permissions: If permits are required for the setup or use of rented equipment (such as tents in public areas), it is the client’s responsibility to obtain them before the event.

  5. Accidents and Liability

    • While we take every precaution to ensure safety, JKZ Party Rental Equipment is not responsible for injuries or accidents that occur due to the misuse of equipment or failure to follow safety guidelines.

    • In the event of an accident, the client must report it to us immediately so we can assess the situation and take necessary action.
